Designer and business owner, Gina Deutman,found a way to
express her love for pets, by creating her own company
dedicated to remembering these special friends after they
have passed away. She named her company,
“A Special Place”.

Gina, like most pet owners, knows how special and
important that each and every soul is. She raised many
during her lifetime and enjoyed them all, from their fun,
youthful experiences through the difficult times when
their bodies could no longer support the energy and
playfulness their spirit held. To Gina, they are not just
the family pet, but are family. She felt such
a hurt in her heart each time she lost
one of her “kids” and wanted to find a way
to not only show respect for them but to also
help her through her grief.

She hopes that all who choose to use her designs will
feel comforted in knowing that their friend
will be looked after and cared for until the
time when they will meet them again
